NexWav is recruiting for a growing manufacturing company that wishes to welcome a passionate health and safety individual, capable of evolving its OHS practices while maintaining a close relationship with the teams.

Here, you will not simply be responsible for enforcing rules. You will have the opportunity to structure, improve, and bring the OHS culture to life on a daily basis.

Your Mandate

You will play a central role in the evolution of the company's health and safety practices. A structured OHS program already exists, but it needs to be updated to meet the new realities of the factory.

You will therefore be able to leverage your expertise, judgment, and practical sense to build solutions that actually work on the ground.

Specifically, you will need to:

• Review, update, and deploy the existing health and safety program.
  

• Adapt OHS procedures and practices to the current operations of the factory.
  

• Support managers and employees in applying best practices.
  

• Be present on the ground to understand operational realities, identify risks, and propose improvements.
  

• Write and update OHS procedures and documentation.
  

• Assess the relevance of integrating the ISO 45001 standard requirements into the company's practices.
  

• Promote a prevention approach based on collaboration, awareness, and accountability.
  

The Desired Profile

We are primarily looking for someone who combines OHS expertise, relational intelligence, and the ability to take action.

You could be the right person if:

• You have relevant training in health and safety, industrial relations, human resources, or a related discipline.
  

• You have knowledge of OHS, ideally acquired in a manufacturing environment.
  

• You are comfortable writing, structuring, and improving procedures.
  

• You know how to intervene with diplomacy, discernment, and respect with teams.
  

• You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and good professional judgment.
  

• You enjoy both fieldwork and the reflection and implementation of solutions.
  

• You are comfortable in both French and English.
